There is no sin so great that God will not forgive a person who is sorry for his or her wrongdoing. We encourage you to stop trying to fix yourself and offer your confession to Jesus through the ministry of a priest. Never doubt the depth of God’s merciful love for you! Admitting aloud your wrong and your sorrow is part of the process, but God established this sacrament to give us so much more: freedom, peace, insight, and power to live well. His mercy is brighter than the sun, a grace he offers, but we must accept.
